''It is not only political movements that can bring change.''
Dear South African Youth, we were born into politics, fighting for power, protesting for service delivery, strikes for low wages, salaries and human rights, etc. Therefore, we do not know anything besides getting to the streets burn tires to get served by the government.
What else do we know besides resolving things through political movements? Let us share what we think might solve our problems because political movements fail to bring the change we want and promises nothing for the future. I mean, if these movements were effective, there would not be any protests for racism, human rights, and low salaries in contemporary South Africa because our forefather's political movements were about the same issues we are still battling with today.
What is it that we can do? Perhaps it is time to reflect, meditate, and develop possible strategies to build and sustain the South Africa we want as young people.
Let us talk!!!
